Why Foothills

Elevating Elite Local Talent in the Triad of North Carolina

Collegiate-level players are in every corner of our community, but competitive AAU programs aren't always accessible. Foothills Basketball is on a mission to attract, develop, and elevate those players.

01

Train Your Craft Like College Players

Practices are run the way college programs run theirs — structured skill work, film habits, and individual development plans, not just open gym with a scoreboard.

02

Develop Under High School Coaches

Our staff coaches high school basketball for a living. That experience translates directly — real game IQ, real in-game coaching, and development that carries over to the varsity level.

03

Elite Basketball, Accessible to All

Talent doesn't only show up in well-funded programs. Foothills is built to find serious players across the region and give every one of them a genuine shot to be seen and developed.

How We're Different

Practice like it leads somewhere

Foothills isn't a pay-to-play showcase team that shows up to tournaments unprepared. Every week follows the same cycle — evaluate, train, compete, review — so improvement compounds instead of resetting each season.

01

Evaluate

Every player is assessed individually — strengths, gaps, and the specific things holding their game back.

02

Train

Practices are position-specific, built around what actually shows up in games rather than generic drills.

03

Compete

Regional tournament reps against real competition put that training under real pressure.

04

Review

Film and staff feedback close the loop, so next week's training starts from what actually happened.
